Little to no cool air

This is perhaps the most obvious sign of a faulty air conditioner. When your air conditioner doesn’t blow cool air, it is not performing its main function. If you put your air conditioner on full blast and still find that the air is not cold or is not as cool as it should be, it is a sign that your air conditioner needs repair. A lack of cool air indicates that either your compressor has failed, or your Freon levels are too low. Either way, your AC system may need to be replaced.

Weak air flow

Another problem that you may find when you turn on your air conditioner is that the air flow is lower than normal. It is common for failing air conditioners to only keep some rooms cool, while in other rooms, the air flow is too weak to cool the whole area. If this is the case, it could mean that your AC vents simply need to be cleaned out, but it could also indicate a more serious problem.
